hey i have a 1993 honda accord and has a overheating problem. while i drive my car to somewhere far as much as in 10 miles or so and when come to a complete stop the temp starts to raise near the red line.

so i noticed when i did turn my car off aint the fan suppose to come on?. with that problem i bought a other fan. whichs turns off and on sometimes.

i'm not really a car fixer. but any tips where i should check? and what to look for.

i also found out that my coolent come lower maybe every 2 weeks or so.

In '93 Accord there should be 2 fan switches. The one in the thermostat housing (lower radiator hose) is responsible for switching the fan while the engine's running. The other one is in the upper radiator hose nozzle & it's responsible for switching the fan after you shut off the engine.
