Default Adding oil to the "break in oil"

i check my oil religously due to the fact that im a psycho, i have 2k on my car and i added castrol 5w30 (non synthetic) to fill it up to the second hole on the dipstick. Is that ok to mix with the break in oil????

Yes. The factory fill is conventional ExxonMobil 5w-30, but Castrol 5w-30 is an excellent oil. The two are entirely compatible.

You can mix any type of oil, brand of oil, and any viscosity of oil you like and nothing *bad* will happen.

If you needed to top off your factory fill, thats better than running it low on oil because you didn't want to mix them!
