ok i've searched on here a few times but didnt quiet get wat im lookin for...ok my friend has a accord V6 and my sister has the TL and my friend is giving it away cuz his car is goin back to stock...now my question is will it work with a 00 tl??? or can any intake from any TL,TL Type S, CL,And CL Type S work??

 

I'm a bit confused in understanding your question. Are you asking if a TL intake will work with a V6 Accord, or are you asking the reverse...if an Accord intake will fit onto a TL?

Assuming that you'd only want to see performance gains, I've read on other sites that people have installed GEN 2 ('98-'02) TL throttle bodies/intakes onto GEN 6 ('98 - '02) V6 Accord motors. However, I'm not sure it that's a quick bolt-on solution, or if a measure of customized modifications were required. I happen to own both an '00 V6 Accord & an '06 TL. The diameter of the TL's intake is substantially larger than that of the Accord.

Personally, I think unless I was able to thoroughly research this, I'd stick with the stock throttlebody and simply install a good CAI system, like AEM's V2. Just my opinon...

it should.... its all trial and error....if he is giving it away take it and try it....what do u got to lose but some time good luck...lol
