DO I NEED A GROUND WIRE IN THE THERMOSTAT?

Not in the thermostat, but near it is a rather important grounding location, yes.

how many groud wires do i need for the car one is the valve cover what else ?

are the disc brake of the 91 si crx bigger on diameter than the hf 89 crx becasue i bought some drilled rotors for the 91 si and i have a 89 hf and the thing that holds the brake pads doesnt fit so just le me know so i can go to the junkyards and get the si ones at least.


on the transmission where the speedometer is there are two hoses i have no idea what they are they come out of the transmission but i looks like something abgout air because is not on the are where the gear oil goes is whre the cluthc is so when i got the motor the hoses where cut off so i dont know what goes there and where it goes so please let me know if you know about thant i have the b16a1 thansmision

You definately need the gound wire to the thermostat housing. I believe that one grounds out the ECU. You should also have one going to you valve cover, need that one also or your car won't start (at least mine didn't). There should also be one from the Clutch cable bracket attached to the transmission going to the frame.

BTW, since I had probs before, I ran a few extra ground wires from the neg battery terminal to my engine.

your hf brakes are smaller, you need to upgrade to dx or si hubs/knuckles to use those rotors/pads. which means you need new axles too

those 2 hoses by your trans held power steering fluid. you're supposed to loop them together with some fluid inside, but mine have been open, just flopping around, with no ill effects.

so i just take out the hoses and on the holes just loop them put something to block them right?

don't block them off, just loop them (connect the hoses together), because i think they still circulate or something

HOW DO I CONNECT THE BATTERY THE POSITIVE TO THE STARTER AND THEN FROM THE STARTET I HAVE TO RUN A WIRE TO THE FUSE BOX RIGHT BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH SIDE DOES IT GO . DOES IT MATTER WHICH SIDE BECAUSE ON ONE SIDE GOES ONE WICH IS THE HARNESS BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH SIDE PLEASE LET ME KNOW?
