I'm looking for a good 10" 5/8 arbor metal cutting saw blade. Every where I look or call seems to just have general purpose construction, which is the description of the blade I have no but its destroying itself cutting thin wall mild steel. I'm looking for a blade that will make smooth flush cuts, I know there will always be some residual material leftover, but basically a blade that would cut quick, smooth, and last a while.

 

Oh, I would want to be able to cut 16g mild and ss 304 with it, nothing crazy, maybe some braided ss line from time to time as well.

 

Are you using a woodworking chop saw? If you are, about your only choice is going to be an abrasive blade...

 

aww son of a, it's a craftsman so I'll just assume its woodworking only. I didn't know there was a difference for them, I assume it has to do with rpm?
