Default electrical short? help plz

well today i was omw to the bank going down 6 and as i pull into the parking lot my gauges start to die and i park then turn it off go in the bank and then come out try and start the car and it wont start so me and my grandpa push start it and we get it on addicts and it starts to sputter and backfire am am only going like 5mph the car wont go any faster we get to my street camino del sol and it just dies so we end up pushing it back to my house (not very far from where it died) in front of my drive way and hook it up to our charger for like 10 min and i get in and start it and it starts just fine and i just replaced the battery like 2 days ago do i have sum sort of electrical short? cuz i have no clue whats up!!1 and i just went to start it and when it idles it idles really low like 900 and almost sounds like it wants to die out on me but it sum how stays on.
