car idles but chokes out when accelerator pressed

Default car idles but chokes out when accelerator pressed

2000 EX motor/harness and ECU in 96 DX hatch, having issues with running,cranks up and idles but can not give any gas,it chokes under acceleration,anyone can tell me what could be the problem?

was the harness alread on on the motor or did you put one on? what computer? does it have any check engine lights?

there was no harness, had to buy it separate and install it back on the motor,ECU came with motor out of same car ,well, atleast thats what I was told,I'm not a honda expert, so I have no idea how to verify if it's the right ECU, I couldnt find one plug on the motor right under the intake manifold,so I have one plug hanging and not plugged into anything,as far as check engine light, nothing lights up on the dash,the cluster is plugged in ,but nothing is on

i have the same problem on what you are goin thru like when u gas it sounds like u are about to stall is like the car dont wanna go i think the problem is u either got an exhaust leak or your timing is off thats what some of my friends told me

lol, there is no exhaust, just header ,and I checked many times to make sure the plug wires are no mixed up

check to see if you have the map and tps sensors hook up backwards
