I am about to finish my DPFI to MPFI conversion tonight. Then i will start on the obd1 conversion with a jumper harness. In theory i can get the car to run if i just bolt up the obd1 distributor and ecu. With out hooking up anything else, to just test my dpfi to mpfi conversion if i did it correctly. I should be only throwing a code 1 o2 sensor not found. Right? With the jumper harness installed. I can always crome a new ecu chop for my obd1 setup to run with out the o2 sensor if it's not present not throwing any codes. Untill i get a o2 sensor for the obd1 conversion/setup.

that's what i was thinking of doing untill i get the new o2. but i am saying once i am done doing the DPFI (2 injectors) to MPFI (4 injector) conversion. I will have bolted up 1 obd1 intake manifold, one obd1 dx ecu, and my sohc obd1 distributor. If i just plug in the conversion harness it should be only throwing the o2 code.
i think the only wires that lead out into the engine bay are, knock, vtec, o2, and something else not really need...

You dont need knock and vtec unless you have a vtec head (obviously) Also u need an obd1 dissy. Obd0 has 16 pick ups and obd1 has 24 or something like that
