Default Road Atlanta II this weekend!

Well fellas and ladies I am heading out to Road Atlanta again this weekend for my second round of road racing lessons. Really Interested in seeing how the mods I have made perform. If your in the Atlanta area come out to the track and check out the racing action. Its a NASA sanctioned event.

Good luck with the lessons, I'll be there working.

Can't decide if I want to take my Si or not though. I was offered a ride down (from Greenville, SC) by a friend who is also going. It would keep miles off my car and save me some money on gas. However, I was recently made aware that even though I am only working, there is a chance I could take a few laps around the track during lunch. Only thing is, the fastest I could go would be 35-40 mph. Think it would be worth it to drive my Si down, or should I save it some mileage and ride with my friend?

Good luck and have fun! Track days are awesome! I use to drag race 7 years ago then I got out onto a road race track and never looked back, when your out on the track for 45 minutes there's no feeling that could beat it....

Na drive it down man. You get to go much faster than that on the lunch laps. I know my boy took his eg out last time we were there and he got close to 100 a few times...you will be able to get above 80 for sure.

Oh I totally agree. Shortly after I went out to the track in March I went to the drag strip. I was rather bored out there. The adrenaline rush just isn't the same. Road racing all day.
