i remember a little while back, someone posted about their civic rolling downhill with the parking brake on. i laughed about it at the time, but 2 nights ago, i parked on a hill, left the car running, stood next to the car for about 5 minutes, and when i went to walk back, the car started rolling slowly down the hill. anyone else experience anything similar? i'm pretty sure the parking brake was pulled up well enough(don't bother with the lifting weight jokes). i quickly got in the car, and put my foot on the brake to stop it. after sitting there for a few seconds, trying to figure out why that had happened, i noticed the e-brake wasn't up anymore. i may have let it down when i got in, but i don't remember doing so. any ideas?
bring it to the dealer and call american honda. it could be a fault e brake, cable damaged etc etc
not something someone on a pc can answer without physically touching the car.

Funny, my 05 RSX-S did the same thing on a very steep driveway. Yanked that bad boy up REALLY well, friends dad called him like a hour later and said my car was in the street. It barely missed a brick encased mailbox by a foot. I crapped my pants when I got there and saw how close it came. I was never a believer in putting the car into gear, just an e-brake man. I, consequently, put the brake on and set the car into 1st or REV while parked now.
