Default Crx dash ?

I searched but I dont think i'm typing the right thing. My question is , will the CRX dash fit into an EF Hatch. My friend is interested in doing this because we saw a guy on the EF squad had done it. But i searched and searched and couldnt find him an answer. So i figured i'd ask you guys.

Cliffnotes:
CRX dash in EF Civic hatch

TIA

You just need a few extra brackets as well.

Here's what's needed:

CRX dash, upper dash supports
CRX center console and center console bracket
CRX audio console
CRX center vents (outers are the same)
CRX gauge hood and gauge cluster
CRX floor console

It all bolts up, it's a pretty time-consuming job though, especially if it's your first time.

I think if I had the none CRX dash I would be putting in a nice comfy arm rest instead of a CRX dash. JMO

You just have a pile of armrests laying around then?

Actually, I did just recently move and came up with 3 armrests so I guess I do! I found so many parts harness this, light that, ecu here, headlight there. I took about 10 containers worth of parts to the new place.

Yes, I am a parts ***** and car *****. My most recent acquire was a F350 Diesel 4x4 to strip and convert my 2x4 Diesel F250 to solid axle 4x4 and my buddy is taking the motor and putting it into his 84 F250. Who knows what we will keep from that.

Maybe a CRXster with a 4.10 rear axle...HHAHHAHAH a 1.5 would never turn that baby!

take your time and realize that the piece that flushes the top of the dash to the windshield needs to be replaced with the civic one or you will have a 1/2 inch gap all the way around. all the clusters are the same except that 88-89 will not work with 90-91 and vice versa.

so if you use the crx dash in a sedan it will have a slight gap next to the side pillars.
