Default CM stage 1

I have a friend with a hybrid accord running a CM stage 1 clutch setup....he's only had it for 10K... he drove it pretty hard... but the clutch is starting to go already... now it doesn't grab hard enough to even chirp into 2nd.......
anyone with CM stage 1.... how long have you used it for?
i'm sorry but 10K for a clutch is lame! i told him that he might have just glazed it over or something but i'm not sure.... any other suggestions?

Suggestion: break the clutch in properly.

Also if you are getting a clutch as weak as a Stage 1 from an aftermarket clutch co. you'll probably find OEM to be better.

The CM Stage 3 is perfectly daily drivable, it's what I got.
