Default Short ram or long ram intake?

im just looking for other peoples opinions. i have a jdm b16 swap in my ef hatch
right now i have a short ram intake but i was just wondering if it is really getting any cold air sitting next to the battery. should i get a battery relocater kit and get the long ram or is it alright where it sits?

The ambient temp in your engine bay isn't much hotter when you're up to speed than where the cold air intakes sit. FYI, it's not the "colder" air of the bumper that makes more power
