Default h22 si question

well i have the stock b16 in my civic and i was thinking bout putting in an 95 jdm h22 but people are telling me that it is not a good idea and that there will be almost no difference so i was wondering if anybody had an h22 coupe
the car is an 2000 civic si

Go H2B...whoever told you there was no difference between b16 and H22 dont know too much man..stay away

H2B=H22 longblock w/ b series tranny/clutch/linkage/mounts and a h2b adapter kit from the likes of http://www.quartersportsdrag.com or http://www.evoindusa.com look into it!

thats what i thought about getting an b16 tranny and an h22 motor i should be in the high 14s with the h2b

depends really...you can be high 14's to low 12's...depends if you intend on building it or doing some bolt-ons..With stock (I am assuming your looking at the usdm H22) with i/h/e cams and a tune it would be capaple of low to mid 13's on some slicks...would feel like a 75-100 shot on your b16..
