I'm looking for someone to help me out or point me in the direction of someone who can. A recommended shop would be helpful too as I'm very weary about them.

if you were in maine or Nh id be up for helping a fellow honda techer out. I love wireing. The other guys in the help thread are on the right track though. its called parasitic (sp) draw. maybe google it up or something and find some more insite on it. kind of hard to explain
