ITR vs GSR head...
just curious on how one can spot an ITR head from a GSR head when both are stripped down... no internals... i got some help from 00-0187 "the itr head is ported and polished, the actual head has a very smooth dome feature to it, while the GSR head is not as concave."
any input would be appreciated.
thanx

thanks for the quote. its actually a very mild port/polish compared to some of the more aftermarket jobs done.... if someone wants to give him a more precise way of telling the two apart...go ahead
. im sure there might be a number etched somewhere i am unaware of.

The combustion chambers on a GSR head are more of a square shape. Flat on two sides and slightly curved on the others.
The ITR/B16 head, has a round more circular combustion chamber.

Which one would have better flow if the P72 head was ported compared to a ported Itr/b16 head? Reason to ask is I have a choice on picking up a gsr head or a b16 head as a spare to toy with. Any experiences? It is going on a b18c5
