Drove all the way to Orlando, FL to get it, too.

It's a single owner, 35k miles, mint interior (minus a small rip in the carpet)...

All for $19,300.

Only downsides are the front bumper has been painted, though the serial numbers match, and the ap1 headlights.

The dealer claims the ballasts were stolen (which is entirely possible, and the bumper needing to be resprayed would go along with that). Either way, the carfax checked out, and I'll be getting the ballasts VERY soon to get the original headlights back on.

Anyway, on to the pics.

Here's the 07 Eclipse we rented to drive to Orlando in. Not bad for $99 and $50 gas.

I must say, being a S2000 owner is a wonderful experience. I've already had so many compliments from people on the road, stoplights, parking lots, etc....

It's the coolest community of people too. Last night while we were out at Redbone Alley in Florence, SC, someone put a laminated s2ki.com card under my winshield wiper!!!!

 

That's one of the things I love most about the s2000: the strong community behind it. Makes me want one even more.

Well I did in the last picture! I'm afraid that I'm gonna get caught in the rain or something and get all wet trying to take the boot off.

Plus I'm always going in and out of places and you have to put the top up and down.

Any suggestions?

so it was cheaper for them to replace the whole housing and ballasts from an ap1 then just buy the ballast for an ap2?wtf?

I agree, other s2000 owners always wave at me when I'm driving (except for one douche bag who just scowled...).

It was cheaper for them because they had bought a wrecked s2k and had it in the shop.

Anyway, they dropped the price of the car $400 and made an agreement that if I get ballasts they will give me the 04 headlights and I'll give them the 03 headlights back.
