Default Too low...

Hey guys I have a few questions about my Integra..
I bought an Integra that had been lowered, only thing is that its too low, everytime i go through any bump my headers scratch, and sometimes my oil panel hits the ground too, causing it damage, my headers are flat now, and are open. I believe my headers were probably bought somewhere cheap like ebay because they do stick out more than usual, Ive seen other integras and thier headers tuck inside pretty nice, but my oil pan hits the ground sometimes too, so I guess i have 2 raise the car, some people have suggested just to put new shocks, others have suggested coilovers. I am newbie to this so I need help. What do you guys suggest for me to do? If I put springs and shocks how low should I drop it?
Well any help will help me out a lot. I will post a picture of my car soon.. Thanks guys

well what is your budget?

what are your living conditions (snow, road conditions, ect ect)?

what kind of ride do you want? soft and plush, not to hard but some performace?

If you buy springs, they are a preset drop, usually you can search and find pics of those springs on a teg and see if you like how it looks. (around $160-250)

You really should replace the strut/shock cause more than likely its blown. So depends how much you want to spend and if you want it dampneing adjustable or non adjustable (dampening adjustable makes you able to decided how hard or soft the car rides). ie Koni Yellows (adjustable $500?) Tokico illumina's (adjustable $400) or Tokico Blues (non adjustable and cheapest about $250 for all four).

Or you can buy Full coilovers which are 1.height adjustable and non dampning adjustable, or 2.height and dampening adjustable, but 1 is usually around $600-700, and 2 is around $900-2000.

Your other choice is to buy coilover sleeves, and a strut. A lot of people like ground control coilover sleeves (which are a ebiach spring and once you put it on a shock you can adjust its height) and a aftermarket strut.

I personally chose Ground Control Coilover sleeves, and tokico illumnia struts. Because it snows here sometimes, and then i can adjust my height ride from .5-3.5 according to my circumstances. ($280)

Along with the tokico 5-way dampening adjustable struts. So i can again choose if i want a soft comfy ride for long trips or a stiff susp. ($400)

Coming to a total of almost $700. And its height adjustable and dampening adjustable and you wont get a full coilover that does that for $700.

O and by the way, in the upper right hand corner there is a Search button in RED. Type in what your looking for and make sure to click the archieved content on the right otherwise you wont get ****. Your gonna **** people off if you dont search cause so many topics have been beaten to death. Including this, good thing im nice.

Hope this helps.

Yo thanks a lot man, that helped a lot, I think I am going to go with what you got, my budget right now is $850 and being able to adjust the coilover sleeves and the struts sounds really good. My road conditions are a few tough roads not many though so having adjustables sounds really good and really good price. Hey and the lil red search button helped out a lot 2, Thanks a lot man I appreciate your help
