Default help me identify this crank, b16b or b18c5

A guy has this crank for sale and swears it came from a ITR motor. Somehow I think it is a CTR crank because use to own a CTR, which he stroked. If it isn't neither please tell me what it came from.

here is a pic of my old ITR during a race meet. It ran consistant 13.7-13.8 all day.

Never seen a B16B crank before but it looks the same as the itr crank sitting on my dining room table. Just grab a ruler and you should be able to get an approximate measurement of the stroke.

you can tell by the counterweights.

the crank in this pic with assembly lube on it is a b16 (i know because i put it in my all motor build and found out the stroke was way short0 and the scratched up one is an ls (i know because it was in the motor my buddy blew up)

maybe that will help a tad? i would still measure tho to be 100% sure.

It still could be a CTR b16b crank. The ctr's had full counterweights, smaller width bearings, and the extra size numberings just like the itr cranks did. Measure the stroke to be sure. Measure the distance from rod journal centerline to main centerline and then double that number gives you stroke.

I know this will be hard to do, but as you do not have mearsuring devices you can try it. Install the crank with 1 and 5 bearings and caps. Put it at TDC (bearing throw at the top) set the rod and piston (no rings, but a bearing shell) into the cylinder if it sticks way the hell out of the block it is a b18 crank. If the deck is correct, guess what, you are OK. By the way "deck" means the piston flat part to the block surface "flat part" did not mean to get too technical.
