Bad Battery causes no start?
Can a bad battery causes no start although you try jumping it with another car? I also find it easier to start on hot days than cooler days?
The engine would just keep cranking and cranking but no start when i jump it

Turnover = Crank
I think you mean "but no start."
If it's easier to start on hot days than cold it's probably your battery.

First check the basics, like spark, pressure to the fuel rail, compression, and correct timing I had all of these I checked every sensor with a DMM and voltage to every sensor on the engine (should be a 5 volt reference) It would turn over but not crank. I tried turning the distributor and holding the throttle wide open to deflood the engine after many failed attempts of running, and then it tried to run but when I let off the starter it would die. I t sounded like a weed eater running on full choke. I finally unbolted the exhaust right before the catalytic converter and held the throttle wide open. It started after deflooding, and shot out a cloud of black smoke. turns out the cat was clogged and I couldn't get any airflow here is a helpful site for no start diagnosis http://techauto.awardspace.com/ignition.html
ok so i swapped out a good dizzy but freaking still no start. i thought maybe it was corrosion thats on the battery but i clean it and still no start. i even swap out a good main relay with the old one and it still no start. man, im getting frustrated.
im thinking maybe the headgasket has something to do with this because i was getting white smoke a few month ago. but ever since i pour in a Bar Fix a HeadGasket it stopped smoking. You think compression got something to do with this?
I had a similar problem a few months back and got it check out by a mechanic and they said that it was a bad ecu ground? I checked the grounds that is on top of the t stat housing and it was hooked up properly. any other ideas?

Did you check for spark and fuel like I told you to in order to fix the problem or are you just gonna continue replacing random parts?

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
well....let me narrow it down a little.
Since it "cranks and cranks", the battery, has enough charge, and is working fine. The starter is also working fine. This is assuming that it is cranking at a high enough speed.
After being cranked, your car needs 3 things to START:
Spark, Fuel/air, and compression. All in good quantities, and at the right time.
Check for each. Find out what's happening and what's not happening.
Meaning that:
your distributor has to know when to spark, your plugs have to be fired in the right order, and there has to be a spark signal.
There needs to be a good quality spark. The plugs cant be fouled or otherwise fucked up. They also must be able to get a good spark created at the distributor and thru the spark plug wires.
Your ECU needs to know when to deliver fuel to which cylinder. Meaning the ECU has to be working and the ground(s) has to be good.
There has to be fuel coming into the cylinder
There has to be air coming into the cylinder
The timing belt must not be broken or skipped enough to throw off cam timing since the valves have to open/close at the same time to get good compression to start the engine.
Compression has to be good enough to start. You'd be surprised how low of compression you can START a car on.
Burned Fuel/air has to be able to make it out of the cylinder to make room for fresh fuel and air.

theres spark, fuel. timing is correct at TDC. Spark plug wire is in the right firing order. what if the spark is weak could it be a bad spark plug wires that causes it not to start?
