Default Buying a 97 prelude....need help?

Hi, Im about to buy a 97 prelude with 127,000 miles,everything stock, 5 spd, base model. I was just wondering if there is anything i should watch out for or if there is any problems with this year and model. Thanks.

if its the right price buy it. but make sure the timing belt has been replaced, or make them take off about $600 and get it done.

yeah see if maintenance is needed, check all the fluids, testdrive for grinds, carfax, see if AC is blowing cold. look for smoke out the exhaust, check engine lights, smoke from under the hood.. leaks. all the usuals

open the valve cover and look inside at the color of the aluminum, and how much motor oil is caked on there. You'll get a sense of maintainance and any overheating issues

how much is it? Just see how often they did oil changes, and all the other things people mentioned.
