Rear lower tie bars don't do anything. I can't speak for H-braces because I haven't tested one myself.

no not really, if you want alittle stiffness in the front, honda has a oem one. you can get them off any integra or del sol at the junk yard. this what they look like:

item number 5.

if you want performance, your best bet would be to get a sway bar.

the rear helps if it's a support brace for a sway bar, not only will it help in stiffness, but help prevent tear outs, which are quite common in eg's when upgrading the rear sway bar.

I like my setup. Separately, they don't stand out much, but together, they make a positive difference in crisper handling that I definitely noticed.

My setup:
NRG (yeah, on a budget)
-front tower bar
-front lower H brace
-rear tower bar
-rear lower tie bar

It's worth it to get the setup, but don't expect much from any of them separately. The setup, I've heard, also really benefits from front/rear sway bars, but I think any car will benefit from front/rear sway bars anyway.

The front lower H brace will help some but won't really be noticeable inless your like me and tend to push your cars limits in cornering.

And this is a 13 year old thread you are necrobumping. The original posters have quite likely moved on.
