Default Theifs tried to steal TWO of my cars.

i went on vacation to washington state from california for 1 week, i had my 89 crx si DOHC zc up for sale for a couple of months, nothing ever happened to it, i was gone for 1 night, to get a call that someone tried to steal it, they broke the driver side window, you cant open the driver side door with out a certain technique, so i think they left because of this, they threw my forsale sign on the ground, so that gave the impression they wanted the whole car, nothing else was messed with. i get back in town and put it in my backyard. i didnt call the cops cause its really pointless at this time

meanwhile, i park my 89 hatchback b16a in its place two weeks later, it has a spare tire on it due to a blowout, and sometime last night, they stole the rim and blown out tire, so now i dont have matching rims, they stole the aem intake tube and filter, i had extra parts stored in it, integra leather seats 3piece rear, they stole that, they stole the stock passenger side seat, they tried to steal the stereo, but did not succeed. i dont know why they didnt steal the extra set of angel eyes ef headlights i had just laying in there in plain view. im more pissed about the rim than anything else, they aren't gonna be able to get any money out of a rim like that, and it just makes my life harder, now that i gotta get new rims. sherriff came out and took report/prints, nothing more on that.

im pretty sure its the same people that did both cars, and im pretty sure they might come back sometime, after knowing that it has a b16a in it, they might try to take the whole car. they are ******* pathetic though, couldn't steal the first correctly, so they gotta come back and try another time...sad.

sucks to hear. One good thing I did hear 3 weeks ago is that in a nearby city to where I live, (Johnstown) a thief was confronted when going through a car that he broke into, he pulled a gun on the person confronting him and the owner of the car shot him twice in the chest and killed him. On the news they had pictures from the morgue of his tattoo asking if anyone could identify him by them. Gross but made me happy someone got what the deserve. One thief down, sooo many more to go.

i spoke to my neighbor about it a little while ago, and apparently similar things have been happening to alot of his friends within a 4 mile radius, people getting cars broken into and stealing intakes and radios and bov's off turbo cars. his buddy has an 00' Civic Si, stole his intake and stereo and shift ****. and another buddy of his almost got his stuff stolen in the same area, but they almost caught them, they were caught in the act and they tried chasing them down till they jumped in there car and took off, it was 1 black guy and 2 mexicans. mexicans = under hood and lookout, black guy was on the stereo. they didnt get anything off that car, but the car they took off in was vaguely described as a late 90's nissan altima dark in color possibly black, the license plate was covered with duct tape. im thinking about taking a cruiz around the neighbor hoods around here between 1am and 3am, to see if can find something or maybe buy a cheap civic, and park it out in the same spot and wire up some kinda explosive device to the door, that would be better than an alarm

lol, and blow there asses up?! well sorry about the thievery, that really sucks. One thing I'm worried about in my neighborhood is the jealous *** people. Once I get my car running and give it the new paint job, I really have no safe place for it....no garage or anything. Might end up in the same state T_T

come to find out.... for some reason after this incident, the brake lights are constantly on, as if you were holding the brake down, not the tail lights, any clue why this would be? maybe they were messing with some wires under the dash trying to hotwire it.

Likely jammed/broke the brake light switch or shorted the wires to it that are under the dash on the pedal assembly. I hate thieves.
