Need help replacing wiper arm
I have a 93 accord lx and the wiper arm on the right side of the steering wheel got snapped off and needs replacing. I have the correct part, my question is how do i get the plastic pieces off to install it? There seems to be 2 or more strange bolts under the steering wheel that will not come off with a basic screwdriver, is this some special honda bolt? I need help asap, thanks guys.
Well you said only the wiper arm. So just remove the nut on top. Just unscrew it with an adjustable wrench. Remove old, in with the new. Align it and tighten.

Actually I believe he is talking about the wiper stalk. If you are talking of the black outer trim piece I am pretty sure there are just two phillips head screws up in the holes at the bottom.

The stalk is snapped off so I need to replace the entire thing. That includes everything inside the plastic behind the steering wheel. Thats what I need help getting too. I got the screw on top, but the ones on the bottom I cant figure out.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS YOURSELF!!
Obviously you dont know what a torx screw is. If you dont know what that is, then you probably dont know how to disconnect the air bag so it doesnt blow up in your face. Take it to a professional before you hurt yourself, or brake something on the car.

I believe the 5th gen Accords may be similar to the 4th gen, for the replacement of the washer/wiper switch. Look and study your car.
Your's is a 4th gen.
For the 5th gen.:
1. Remove coin tray first. You would then remove the plastic lower dash cover (should be a couple of screws holding it).
2. There may be a knee bolster (metal plate) in back of the lower dash cover. If there is, remove it (should be 4 bolts holding it).
3. Remove upper and lower plastic steering wheel cover (should be around 6 philips screws on the lower cover).
4. Turn steering wheel (to the right, I believe) to expose the 2 philips screws which attach the wiper/washer switch. Then unplug the electrical connector from the back of the wiper/washer switch, and remove the 2 philips screws.
(I don't think you need to remove the air bag if you turn the steering wheel to expose the 2 philips screws attaching the wiper/washer screws.) -- Disclaimer: Attempt at your own risk. ... lol.

thanks for the replies guys, the reason i couldnt figure it out is because there aren't any screws in the bottom lol so the plastic is loose. But i can't get it off without breaking it, is there a special way to remove the steering wheel plastic pieces? I guess ill just try to work it off arghh!!!
