Default HELP, need to replace brakes

I need to replace all the brakes and pads on my 94 teg ls. I stomp on them often, and need something that will stop fast, but im not looking to upgrade size, and price is a big issue. What should i get if im looking to spend sub 350 for the whole car (all 4 rotors, all 4 pads).

Fastbrakes quoted me just over 300 bucks for all four corners on my GSR, Brembo blank rotors and EBC greenstuff pads shipped.

Check out http://www.collettimotorsports.com about their specials. I just bought a front set of Brembo OE blanks and a Hawk HP + which basically was recommended to me because I do auto-x and road race. I ordered it last friday and should be receiving it soon and I paid $156 total out the door shipped.

DB8 - Who's eager to get these installed for a road race event on June 20.

thats only $65 over your budget I'm sure you can scrounge that up somehow..

Complete brake package for 94-01 Acura Integra (except Type-R*)

Kit contains:
1 Set of four (4) Goodridge Steel Braided brake lines
1 liter of ATE Super Blue (more than enough to do the job)
2 Brembo front Rotors
2 Brembo Rear Rotors
Hawk HP+ pads for the front
Hawk HP+ pads for the rear
Shipped anywhere in the Continental USA for $415.95

you can also order their Brembo blanks $28/ea for the fronts and $20/ea for the rears (click on specials) and shipping is $10/rotor.. but they knock off $10 if u order 4 rotors I think.. and you can order the hawk HPS pads for like $80/set front and $50/set rear I think.. thats w/in your budget..

hmm not sure where you can get the Brembo blanks for $26/ea..
but the place I linked you.. http://www.collettimotorsports.com has them for $28/ea + 10/rotor shipping.. that comes out to $76 for the fronts.. and the rears (brembo blanks) are $20/ea I think.. so thats $40 for the rears plus $10/ea shipping... and when u order 4 rotors.. they knock off $10.. so thats like $50 shipped for the rears.. then u can get the hawk hps pads for $80 for the fronts.. and $50 for the rears.. thats

$76 (2 front brembo blanks shipped)
$50 (2 rear brembo blanks shipped)
$80 (front set of Hawk HPS pads)
$50 (rear set of Hawk HPS pads)
-----
$256 well w/in your budget..

as for the EBC green stuff.. not sure.. maybe you can call colletti and ask if they stock them...

also if you want to order at a diff place.. there is http://www.performancemotorcars.com
they have the Brembo blanks for like $34.47/ea and orders over $50 have free shipping so thats like $69 shipped for the fronts... (vs $76 from colletti).. for the rears they dont have Brembo (at least not for a 95 GSR) they have something called mountain for $22.. ??? dunnoz about that..

I've personally ordered from Colletti and it came shipped fast so I can vouch for them

as far as performance motorcars.. havent ordered from them before so I can't comment..

http://www.tirerack.com has the EBC's and hawks..

hope that helps.. maybe sum1 else will tell you what other places there are..

and in case you need to know how to change your brakes/put your new stuff in..

hth..

if these replacement discs are the same size, is improved braking to be expected or just imporved life of the brakes? (both a plus )

summitracing has those OE Qualitee Brembo blanks for $32 each (front) plus $5 shipping for however many u need. for the front 2 its $69. the rear 2 are $25 i think. so $119 for all four. then buy some pads for $65 and youre set.

I just found out that nopi has Brembo blanks and you save a ton on shipping! They don't have EBC pads though.

Finally, my merchandise arrived yesterday. I installed the Hawk HP + brake pads already but wasn't able to install the rotors mainly because I couldn't get the two screws to loosen up that holds the oem rotors. Does anyone know the name of that tool and where I can get 'em?

Haven't tested the Hawk's yet to it's full potential but already felt a huge difference in braking on a stop and go traffic. We'll see.

Here's that Brembo OEM rotor:

and here's my cracked break Nissin OEM brake pads:

DB8GSR: its called an impact driver or impact screwdriver.. it costs about $20 at sears.. you basically hit the end of the impact screwdriver w/ a hammer and that force turns the screwdriver bit at the front/tip of the tool..

heres some links for you:
http://www.bseries.net/html/garage/brakes.php

here is a pic of the tool from sears
