I know its not the best idea and prolly not alot of people have done it. Just curious if anyone has ever tried mod it the way the mpfi cars are modded. I know one guy on hmt turbo'd his. Jus wondering.

I've seen some attempts just to see what can be done, and it's worthless.

It's got the down sides of carb and TBI mixed together. It's really just a bum system to work with. I'd not even bother with an intake before MPFI swap.

If you would like to be different and just try it to try it, by all means you can just don't be mad after tons of work a stock a6 is still able to pound on your car.

You would be much better off if it was a carb , I would take some mikuni's or some webers anyday over the dual piont

If I had a DPFI car that was getting ready to be swapped, I'd try a wet shot of nitrous on it first. Theoretically, since the extra necessary fuel is being supplied through the fuel jet, it should work. I don't know however with the way the intake mani is designed, I think it would all just puddle up and blow your **** sky high.

Direct port? Hmmm... The runners would be prefect for a direct port setup actually!

Someone PLEASE direct port a DPFI. You would make me giggle.

I did waaay back in the day..drilled a hole in the intake throttle area and installed (1) 650cc injector and an injector controller in the car..but as you can see i added injectors so it wasnt really dual point any more i guess.
