I just converted a 90 DX automatic to a MPFI Mini-me b2/y8 setup and I also added a manuel 90 crx si cluster. After I installed it I had no turn signals. Is the pinout in the back of the cluster different in automatic and manuel?

who is manuel? did he help you with the swap? maybe thats why the signals dont work.

so the car is still auto its just got a different engine in it now yes?

 

Sorry, I guess I wasn't specific. The car is now a manuel. When you turn the blinkers on, nothing happens in the cluster or bulbs. I figured maybe the flasher was bad, but I replaced that and still the same thing. The tach also doesn't work so I figured maybe something is the cluster wiring is different.. The guage cluster that used to be in there was a crappy auto one with no tach. I added a cluster from a 90 Si and everything seems to work fine except that.

 

Would this problem cause my code 17 ( VSS ) I have?

 

did you even plug all the connectors in? is your dash pulled out?

ask manuel why he wont flash for you

 

Make sure you the hazards connectors are tight (clicked in) no blinkers will work if thats not plugged in.

I have 3 times the amount of posts as you. Shut the front door hooker, of course everything is plugged in. However, it is missing the hazard switch. Thanks KHMi for the info!

 

If you don't have the hazard switch you won't see your signal lights on the cluster

Thats my daily driver. It has a JDM B16A 2nd gen motor swap done by myself, tuned by uberdata myself and restored by myself. People on this site like to correct people by trying to make them feel stupid. You have 100 posts and your telling me some guy from home depot helped me do my swap? I've been a member for 5+ years now and heres some assbag trying to make himself look intelligent.

I find it funny that all of a sudden you find out about proper nouns and when I should or should not use capital letters. I have more than you and I agree with him. Don't get butt hurt when someone makes a comment about your grammar. Seems like common sense to me to check all the plugs before making a useless thread.
