Default B20a crank in b20b block snout length issues

have a customer that had a b20a crank modded to fit his b20b block with forged internals he ran it for a year and had tbelt issues because the snout is shorted the belt woud shred itself

wondered what others were running into i know this is old setup with ks and what not now but just wondered...

i never had any problems...i built this motor almost 10 yrs ago.if it is shredding the belt it is most likely not lined up."if it is walking on you" the bottom needs to be shimmed out a hair.
