So my car is a 90 CRX Si and I want to lose a few pounds and free up some room for my intercooler. Recently I bought a HF bumper for $10 (or so what the kid said it was) but it doesn't line up at all on my car, he says I'm supposed to look for brackets to hold up the bumper which connect to the radiator support?. I'm starting to think that it was for a older CRX pre-88.

What I'm looking to find out is if the 88-89 and 90-91 Bupmer supports are the same. From what I understand the Dx/Si are exactly the same but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also Can someone please post some pics of 88-89 DX/Si and HF support as well as 90-91 HF DX/Si?

One last thing....On the JDM bumper support is it just a bar that holds up the bumper or what?

I've been searching for a few hours and haven't come up with much.

The JDM bumper support is pretty much the same as the HF, I dont have any pics but the HF bolts on on both sides in the same spots where the stock bumper support does. It also bolts in the center which I had no spot to bolt it to on my SI. The support is just a stamped piece of metal (like a fender) it is not a boxed section like the stock support. It should work with either style bumper cover.

go to http://www.hondapartsdeals.com look up the SI or HF (or both) bumpers. It shows the parts. The HF uses different bumper stays I believe (part # 13 and 18 on dagram).. from the pictures thats what it looks like at least.
