Whats the biggest bore i can take a B17a to safely without sleeving it.

 

nothing that will make it worth your while...it sucks man but sleeving is where the power gains are made

 

where do you reccomend on having it done, well a gsr block anyways, and more or less how much? I had a local shop quote me 200 if i bought the sleeves

 

take it to a reputable shop which houses a cnc mill to accurately machine the sealing bores...theres tons of shops i live in canada there are only a few around the toronto area here...and im curious what bore size you planning on running anyway?? is this a full block build or just a slight overbore?? because you have piston and compression options now if you dont plan on building the motor dont bother sleeving i say...

82mm. but that leaves no room for a rebuild.
