Default crx si cluster in my 90 ef

i looked on the web and i keep seeing that all it does is plug in as long as its the right year it will work


is that true

I have done this personally many times to many different cars..

The only years you have problems is 88-89 because honda used 2 different companys in 89,and they have different pinouts. I learned this the hardway

question? i have an 88 hatch but no tach.. i would like to swap the cluster with one that has one.. any tips or certain things i should watch out for??
