Default Golden Eagle Vtec kit with a B20 Botton end?

B20 85mm.
B16 head

I purchased the Golden Eagle kit with a 85mm P30 head gasket.

Will it work? i was under the impression that it will. But have heard from a few people that it will leak.

WTF?

Any input.

If the block is 85mm and you purchased the 85mm head gasket then you're set.

And about the leaking.. if its installed right nothing will go wrong.

Most people use a LS headgasket. See here:https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1676914

With the correct bore, the gasket will not leak oil. Please go to the link I posted. it is filled with correct information.

people who tell you crap like " i heard it will leak" have never used it. don't listen to them... too many people who think they know it all because they heard that someones uncles brothers roommate had one that leaked. you will be fine.

My apologies. Anyone who states their b20 is 85mm without saying "b20 bored to 85mm" usually has no idea what their talking about. Espeically if they open up a thread saying they've heard of a golden eagle head gasket leaking.

Besides that, who in their right mind would bore that much out of a b20 block anyway? Thats just asking for trouble.

i recall b20's bieng 84mm from the factory so why not buy an oem headgasket and play it safe? Anything over 84mm without sleeving is rather risky knowing the history of these sleeves!
