im trying to change my headliner too... how do i get take the roof off... im taking my car apart (ej8) and i got the door panels out, the rear seat panels out too... how do i get the roof/headliner out so i can refabric it. can you help?

You need to see how thick the material is. There are at least 2 different 3m spray adhesives out there. One goes on really wet while the other is less. If the material is thin and you have the wet can it will soak through and leave hard spots that look like *** and then the cloth is junk.

i dunno, i used one type of 3m and it didn't work for ish on my headliner in my truck, but that wasn't the type, post pics when your done though, i just used normal 3m i found at like walmart i think.
3M Fastfoam 74 is by far the best adhesive spray I've used. Used it on my suede door panels and they are holding up nicely. I had to buy it through an industrial supply store using an account because most local places don't sell it to the public. I've tried the other 3M sprays along with some other brands of adhesives at the local hardware store and they weren't near as tacky as this stuff and don't hold up as well or at all.
