Default b16a 1st gen wiring

looking for suggestions on wiring for my 89 dx hatch that i am putting a b16a into. i have the stock dx harness and i have a 90 teg harness or i have the money to do a hasport harness. i asked on here if i could use the 90 teg harness and all i got was a "no" with no reason why. what are all you guys using or did you all pay someone to do your swap?

You want to use the stock wire harness to your car and modify it. If you look at your integra harness, most likely not all of the plugs will match up. Mainly I'm referring to the ones by the passenger shock tower where the interior and engine harnesses mate up and the ones by the driver's side firewall corner.

The DX harness is totally different than the HF and the SI since they used MPFI. The DX didn't.

This article is for the ZC but is basically the same for the B16a:

I have ECU pinouts here:

Good luck,

every thing you need to know is right here http://www.hasport.com just scroll down to 88-91 civic with a b16.....shows you all the wiring and they even carry a conversion harness for your car so you dont have to do the work....which helps out alot.....trust me

-oops forgot to put in the link....my bad

i understand the dual point and multi point. my question is, can i put a teg harness on the b16a (i know i can) but will it plug into my dx car harness? i am too lazy to check for my self, plus i was hoping someone on here has done or tried to do this.

Lazyness -- the decay of all people.

even if a 90-91 integra harness does work on your DX, you still need to wire up the needed items from the ecu to passengerside shocktower main harness plugs.

There's no way out of rewiring your DX ya lazyass..hahaa..jfwy..
