Vacuum Hose Routing
1991 Accord EX 2.2 automatic. Anyone have a vacuum schematic for this car? My neighbors kid bought this thing and someone had replaced the engine. They got it all together but whoever he got it from had every single vacuum hose ripped off it. We managed to get the hoses back on it but are fairly sure they are not right. It does run now but has erratic idle, stumbles and sputters on take off until about 2k rpm, then runs fine. Idles at 1200 one time and then at 550 the next. The MAP sensor did test faulty but it will be hard to test and adjust anything else without having the vacuum hoses correct. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I got the vacuum routing figured out and it ran better but still had a miss to it. Noticed someone had the intake off before so I pulled it and replaced the torn gasket I found and now it purrs like a kitten!!! It's the neighbor kids first car and I don't think it has sat for more than 5 minutes since I fixed it. That is one happy kid!!!
haha
glad you got it working.
Usually when someone asks for a vacuum diagram I go onto SLHonda or HondaAutomotiveParts and look for a diagram in there parts directory that shows the vacuum routing. It doesn't have all the routing like a manual would but it helps sometimes so keep that in mind if this comes up again.

I did go to SL Honda but didn't find what I needed there. I spent 5 years working for Honda rebuilding automatic trannys and even tried my buddies there but they didn't have the manuals for a 91 anymore
I should have swiped as many manuals as I could get while I worked there, they just threw away the old ones. This is why I like diesels so much better, no vacuum lines but all the new stuff is getting more and more electronic these days.
