Default Should car vibrate when AC on?

I test drove a 2002 Civic Si Hatch. It has 60000 on it and the car was vibrating when I drove it. The owner of the car said that Si's have a problem with AC and they tend to vibrate when the AC is on. So I turned it off and it did stop. And I did this a couple times and it would stop vibrating when the AC was off. Is this normal for Si's like he says? I've never heard of this.

Thanks in advanced.
