H22A IMs won't bolt up to an H23A1 unless you have one of these:

You won't find many of these adapters though. I just happen to have one for sale though.

H23 ports arent symmetric like H22 ports, so the manifolds dont line up. pirate made an adapter to bolt the H mani up. hes a smart guy.

In the grand scheme of things probably not since there's almost nobody doing anything with the H23/F22B nonVTEC.

Though I have not dynoed it yet (no time recently) it at least allows you the ability to use any OEM or aftermarket intake manifold that's available for the H22 including Skunk2, Euro-R, JG welded plenums, or some crazy stuff that's available from RLZ (see Birdman's thread) or even adapt some H22-based individual throttle bodies if that's your thing. As it is you're stuck with the OEM manifold, the boosted "venom" style intake manifold and the POS OBX one.

It would also not be that hard to make an adapter for fitting K20/K24 intake manifolds too. There's 5 or more different OEM types of K20 IM that can at least be tested for potential for either NA or boosted applications.

yeah your answer to the question "whats the point of this" well this doesnt really have to do with the "G" motor im just building an h23 and ive heard good things on the Euro-R H22 IM. is it going to be something worth investing in?

and boo on your adapter price. but hey its not like i got the tools.

when you figure in all the time he has in correctly designing that piece, its a HELL OF A DEAL!! you couldn't walk into a machine shop with both manifolds and ask them to measure them up, design the adapter and machine it for any less than 2-3 times what he's asking. to Pirate

I am sorry that you don't like the price. Find me 10 customers and I will offer it for $75 for a group buy. Otherwise be glad you're not trying to modify a BMW or Porsche.

Have you looked at what the "bolt up" Euro-R manifold costs?

Custom throttle cable brackets
Custom IACV brackets
Custom fuel rail adapters
Custom throttlebody modification or ITR/S2K TB
Tapping/grinding/portmatching of the Euro-R
Additional sensors not found on H22s...

Ask Rosko and 2point6 what a "package deal" for it will cost and see if you really want to follow through. This one for sale was assembled by collective racing. You could almost swap in an H22 that makes 40hp more than your factory H23 for the price of an assembled Euro-R IM swap. You should re-evaluate your perspective on cost.
