Default de-pinning for mpfi to obd1

I can't get the damn ecu pin to pop out. I've tried for the last hour. Tried a super small flat head and nothing. Inserting the driver in the female side of the plug. any ideas?

actually i am converting from dpfi to mpfi, then using my obd1 conversion harness that just came in the mail.
