I recently got into a car accident and as a result the core support was pushed in. I was wondering if it is possible for it to just be unscrewed and taken out and simply replaced, or if it has to be done by a mechanic and be welded on ? I want to do it with my boyfriend if possible so we don't have to pay for anything but the parts, but if I have to take it in how much do you think it would be? I have looked all over the Internet and this looks to be about the only place that anyone would know anything. Please help!
