I just did a swap from a h23 to the h22 i am still running the h23 tcu and it shifting out at 6300. I am guessing it need a different tcu. Will i need one from a h22 auto car or is there other cars that i can find one in. One other thing befor i did the swap if you but it in first it would take off in 2nd and i know it pulling it down into 1st i checked. After the swap the same thing pull it in 1st and it will take out in 2nd. Would the different tcu change this??

Does the TCU have to come from a H22 car?? What car's can i find the TCU I need in?? Or can the current TCU be modded for the H22??

 

I don't think anyone has played around with those things enough, though I'm sure it could be modded to work.

Your best option here is to call japanese engine importers, they get plenty of h22s that come with auto h22s. They may have one, because us models only came with 5spd transmissions.
