Best engine swap for a D16y8??? Think about that. You mean best engine swap for your EJ8? Think about that also...

1. How much money do you have right now to spend?
2. What whp goals are you trying for
3. Is this your DD/Auto-X/Drag car?
4. Turbo or N/A build?

i only have about 2000 or so to spend on a swap, and i was thinking about trying to get a 200whp engine or so when im done. I want a turbo build also, but im not really sure whether i want my car to be an auto-x or a DD.

With a budget of 2000, that can get you an LS motor swap (B18b) , which in time can be a great platform to start a turbo build on.
