I have been trying to take a pic, but its not coming out where you can really see it but anyways..

Latley I have been noticing a "residue" on my hood, it looks like my hood is dirty, but I have washed it a few times, and it will not come off. Its a little darker than my paint, I have a sliverish blue color accord, and its a little darker than that, and its in spots sorta, but its over the majority of my hood.

I am affraid this is the begininng of oxyidation? I cannot tell for sure, I wax it every few months.

Any Suggestions? I am affraid to wax/polish again cause I do not want to make it worse.. what should i do?

 

I have also noticed when its hot, I can lick my finger, and wipe it off, but it dries instantly and goes back to that dirtier looking color.. WTF!!
