ALRIGHT GUYS, I INSTALLED MY B18 HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE WIRING AFETER GETTING IT BACK FROM HASPORT, SO I TOOK IT DOWN TO GET IT RE-WIRED AT REDLINE IN DALLAS, IT WAS THROWING THE IGNITOR CODE (16) SO I SWITCHED IT OUT BUT NOW WHEN I DRIVE IT IT SMOKES PRETTY BAD AND WHEN IT HITS 3GRAND IT STARTS KIND OF JERKING (ITS HARD TO DESCRIBE) ITS LIKE IT TURNS RETARDED AT 3GRAND UNLESS I STAND ON THE GAS. WHEN I PUNCH IT ITS FINE BUT IF I DRIVE IT NORMAL IT DOES THIS SPUTTERING... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS, PLEASE HELP.

 

all ur getting is code 16?

 

code 16 is for injectors not ignitor....check to see if each of your injectors is working properly and report back

 

i had that problem with mine,except mine didnt throw any codes, i had to clean out the little screens in the injectors, and i went ahead and replaced the fuel filter and it was fine after that

 

thanks to all you guys who responded i apparently was looking at the wrong code, i did have the problem with the number three injector not pulsing i think it may be a lead... i will check it out tomorrow and upd ate the situation, thanks again for all your help..

 

i have another question for you guys, which ecu am i supposed to run on a dx with the b18 (ls) swap?
