I bought a 99 Accord 4cyl a few weeks ago, and most everything has been fine so far.

One day it was a bit sluggish, and later in the afternoon I stalled the car (thought it was in neutral and took my foot off the clutch). After that the car wouldn't restart, and the battery was toast. I replaced it with a new one.

Since then about one out of every 6 starts or so the car will turn over fine, fire for half a second, and die. If I restart the car it works just fine. In addition, some times I get a bit of fluctuation in the sound out of the air conditioner, as if the voltage was rising and falling.

Neither of these is a big deal, but I'd like to get to the heart of the issue, since I'll be taking some trips and don't want to end up with a dead battery.
