Its got 206k on it -- when I go around a sharp long left it thumps multiple times and it shakes a bit on acceleration (even light) plus on decel (but the rotors are new). It doesn't `click`, it thumps. The only thing I could see was the bushings on the sway bar ends were bad so I replaced them the other day and it was not better.

This was the case with the old motor and the new (replaced by me at 203k)

Check the ball joints.

Jack up the car so the front wheels are off the ground, Grab the wheel at 12 and 6,and shake ( not enough to shake the whole car, just enough to shake the wheel, if there is any play, u need a ball joint

And check the tie rod ends, grab the wheel at 3 and 9 and shake, again if theres anyplay look at the tie rod ends.

It may be easier if u have someone shake it whille u look

Thanks for the advice, I noticed that when I shake the front left wheel when its in the air i hear a slight noise and a bit of motion that could very wheel be the trailer noise i hear when I go over bumpy roads. I also noticed that the nut doesn't appear to be fully tightened and I think I remeber this being because it wouldn't thread properly. Seems like the looser nut could be the culprit for this.

But still nothing on the accel shaking. It did it with the old motor and the new one but when I swapped it the mounts seemed good. What else could it be? Which would be the most likely cause of brake shudder at higher speeds w/ new braking components?

Also, I have a bunch of experience on Honda's but have never replaced the ball joints. Is it a challenge? Seems like it would be
