Default anyone have "sluggish" acceleration problems w/ aftermarket gsr manny???

I have a gsr swap in my eh2 and i didnt have the vacuum box on the back of the block to make the butterflys in the gsr manifold work right so i got a aluminum sheetmetal intake manifold. it gave me more power throughout the whole powerband but it still feels sluggish??? i have perfect compression ect.. and the motors solid.

When vtec enguages i can hear it but i doesnt have the pull like it does when i hits 6k-8k. pulls really hard then.

I was wondering if i ran another ecu if it would get rid of the problems in my mid range. im thinkin that the virgin p72 ecu i have now still thinks that the manifold is on there.

Im thinkin about a chipped p28 or even a virgin pr3... whatcha think???? THANK

Usually an IM is sort of pointless unless you have different cams

Your engine is a glorified air pump man, if you're going to get a bigger IM to allow it to inhale better, then you need to increase a lot of other things to allow the IM to function properly with the rest of the engine. dear lord where is this forum going
