I don't like the spongy feel of the brakes, so I'm hoping some new pads will fix that. The rims are horrible also so hopefully I can find something that will look right.

i wanted one since they day they came out and also the bigger brother MDX but they are just too much for my budget but even w/o the tech package its alot of bang for the buck.

RDXs sucks, and the color you chose sucks.
J/P - I got one too. I also have the front spoiler and rear diffusser. This is a machine that can kick some major *** on the twisties. Pulls like a monster for a 4300LB CUV.

These people dynoed an RDX and disabled the driveshaft, which resulted in a higher whp rating.
I'm not sure if the RDX is an underrated vehicle.

Also, what engine does the RDX have?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I've read several times from others that Acura underated it...and is really making 260ish rather then 240.
Engine is a K23A1.

Welll they had to change the horsepower rating system to fit a new standard in 2007. So this car may be a little underrated rather then the "over rated" power that it had before.
Also that video I wouldn't trust as a reliable source since the drive shaft is disconnected.

It definitely feels faster then the 240hp rating. But, they still need to do something about the off-boost response. 0-60 is fast, but the 0-30 part of it just dog slow, it's like the purposely retard it when you step on it off the line. Anyone done anything yet to try and remedy this, higher stall torque convertor?

it's slow, so when i know i need it to pick up, i throw it in to S mode and play with the paddle shifters. Even though the shifting isn't as smooth an quick as it should be, it picks up a lot faster than it would in D mode.
and of course disconnecting the driveshaft to the rear wheels should yield a higher whp. Throw it on to a 4wheel dyno to see more accurate numbers.
