H23a Vtec ( JDM ) questions
Ok, OUTSIDE OF THE OBVIOUS, the h23a Vtec from japan has 55mm mains, and the h22 head. now does anyone know if the camshaft lobes are different than the H22a, H22a1, H22a4. basically I am asking which cam has the most agressive lobes. I have a set of h22a4 cams and wasnt sure if the H23a cams where different. The rest I am pretty sure of. Its just the cams I wasnt sure of.
the h22a4 head yes. the h23 i am not sure yet. i dont have it here. The H23 hybrid i built ran,, but it still knocked so I am gettin a new motor, the h23a Vtec
ok actually, now i remember someone with an h23a swap done on here not that long ago. the head is a p13 meaning the cams are the same as your h22a4 cams.

I THINK the power difference is due to the higher compression, while using the same cams.

ok? then the h22a and a4 have 10.6:1 comp and same cams?
then will the h23a JDM have the same rod bearings as a USDM motor?
