well i sold my eg hatch- (paid off my credit card)
and bought an 89 Lx sedan, the first day i got it i ran into a curb
and cracked the radiator- so i had to replace the radiator and while i was
at it i ended up replacing the thermostat- anyways needless to say
its been a rocky start with me and this car-
i've had it apprx 3 days: and have been busy as hell,
(cause apparently peaple are busy in hell?)

so far i 2 toned the mo fo,
painted the roof black,
put SI seats in,
and a new center console,
yeller'd the headlights...

the pics are there now, but im not feeling anything but the si seats. Yellow headlights look dirty and ur tow hook looks, well, i'll be nice. Reason why you rattle canned the roof black? I dont feel that either unless it is a quality gloss job out of a real gun (with exception of a few outstanding rattle can capable people on HT). If you like what you did then that is awesome but I would worry more about GO than SHOW for a sedan. There are some badass sedans in the show department though with wheels, mild lip, tint, and slammed. Just not feeling it man. Maybe you didnt want mu opinions, but you did infact post it up here for us to look at. Glad YOU like YOUR CAR though.. for doing ur thing

 

What is the function of those rear tow hooks? I'm just asking generally, I see no point in them. Same thing with the yellow headlights, isn't that illegal? *shrug*

I'm digging the two-tone paint scheme, it probably would look even better with a small drop and some black wheels.

i like the car. tow hook black roof? no black hood or truck its ok, the headlights i was gonna do it, but imma wait for some extra to come around. lips/mudflaps si seats that lil console two tone LX power everythang!

Seriously, I want to know what practical purpose the tow hooks serve, not just on your vehicle but on any one for that matter.

Also, you may want to check if your yellows are legal in your area so you don't find out the hard way (i.e. with a ticket ).

 

it will get some tint,
it will get some shoes,
and a lil drop,
and a yakima or thule board rack,

i have extra stock headlights and corner lights
in the garage-- i just really like the yellow...

and consider it posted in the sedan thread...

i've had yellow lights on all my cars the past 2-3 years and have never been
pulled over for it... im not worried

the tow hook serves no purpose, other than to make you and the rest
of HT very angry...

its not illegal in idaho to have them yellow.

and those seats are soooo much better than the other stock ones. the stocks were crusty

No thats not a crx console. Its just an optional audio console, which came with an extra dinslot.
