help with a 88 honda crx hf rear suspension swap to a si
I have a 1988 Honda crx hf and im looking to upgrade my rear suspension from drum to disk. My question is what I need to upgrade my master cylinder, my front brakes, and rear brakes. Also, my car did not come with a rear sway bar. How could I add one? If I upgrade my rear would I have to get new dampers and springs? So should I just sell it and find another crx, or could I just get a lower control arm, disc brakes with the holes drilled into them for the sway bar. After I do all that, do I get and aftermarket dampers and spring kit made for the parts? Could I just go to passwordjdm or hmotorsonline for the parts and just bolt in? I understand im going have to drill in the frame rail for the sway bar. Is there any other modification I have to do for my 88 hf, so the whole rear end is like a si? One more thing my engine keeps knocking when cold I add higher octane gas to wear off any detonation.
